Nomadas Del Arte is a year long plein air event culminating with a spectacular show of over 400 plein air works in March 2008 at Sage Creek Gallery in Santa Fe. I am one of the founder/directors organizing Nomadas, and a participant.

Here are some of a series of miniatures of Rocky Mountain National Park I painted for Lochvale Gallery in Estes Park. I'm very pleased with how these turned out. It's a good workout painting so small. It forces an artist to focus only on what's essential to get across reconizable shapes and still include a sense of light and mood. Thanks to Brian Mack for suggesting this project and hanging it in his gallery!
